Lots of people are hating on twitter. I get why it’s perceived as being a bunch of crap: it’s does feed a deep narcissism which instead of being preserved in ones Facebook status, is inflicted on wider online community. Besides, writing what you are doing every two minutes really is fucking sad.

But I have to admit, it’s a great syndication tool. The Pen has an account, and spare a few dodge updates born out of fits of boredom, it is generally used advise fellow twitter-ers about new tumblr posts.

Whilst I admit Twitter isn’t really all it’s cracked up to be, by far the bigger online farce has to be Facebook* (particularly their “privacy” agreements). More Facebook nonsense here.

*For the record, I do have an account but will be deactivating it (because I can’t delete it). I haven’t dones so yet because I’m using it for the time being to keep in contact with people o/s. I’ve have however begun to limit how much people can actually interact with me by removing some features from my profile (including my wall).
