french retail chain the kooples (playing on the french saying “couples” in english) will be coming to the states really soon, so you better get acquainted.

the store’s ad campaigns feature real-life couples scouted from facebook, myspace, and the street. their clothing is minimalist and simple, easily able to be traded between the sexes. they have already opened 20 stores in three months, and are planning on another 150 in the next three years, including ones in the united states.
