The media in Haiti: journos to the rescue
CNN’s Anderson Cooper takes an injured boy to safety after being caught up in looting in the capital Port-au-Prince.

News crews from Channel Seven and Nine Australia were on hand to capture the moment a baby girl was pulled out of the rubble.
The raw footage below seems to suggest that locals, Nine cameraman Richard Moran and “fixer” Deiby Celestino were involved in the rescue.
Seven’s Mike Amor scored the so-called “money shot” whilst Nine’s Robert Penfold did his best to involve himself in the aftermath for the cameras.
